BOIL ORDER RESCINDED
DRINKING WATER STATUS
CANCELLATION OF BOIL ORDER
Customers of City of Bloomington PWS6040007 were notified on December 22, 2025, of a negative E.coli test with our drinking water and were advised to boil consumed water. We are pleased to report that the follow-up testing has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to boil any water.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
All samples have returned negative for contamination. Although testing errors were suspected and no contamination was found below the tanks and chlorinator, the City issued the notice as a precautionary measure.As always, you may contact Rob Allred at 801 635-7012 with any comments or questions.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
